Open positions

Posdoctoral position for modeling brain tumors clinical data (starting January 2013)

We have an open postdoctoral position for a modeling scientist.  The mission is to develop new predictive models for low-grade glioma, a brain tumour characterized by a slow evolution and a prolonged response to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Based on a previously developped model (see Ribba et al. Clinical Cancer Reserch 2012), the objective of the project is to 1) evaluate the relevance of using tumor volume information versus mean diameter and 2) to couple the dynamical model of tumor size to overall survival. The work will be performed in collaboration with the department of neurological surgery at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and is in the framework of the DDMoRe project (www.ddmore.eu).

The position is located in Grenoble, France at INRIA (http://www.inria.fr/en). INRIA is dedicated to fundamental and applied research in information and communication science and technology (ICST). By playing a leading role in the scientific community in the field and being in close contact with industry, INRIA is a major participant in the development of ICST in France.
