Summer School "Scaling limits and Kinetic theory"

which will be held at ENS de Lyon from September 30th to October 4th, 2019

The school will focus on rigorous aspects of the large-scale derivation of effective kinetic equations for interacting particle systems from their microscopic dynamics. It also aims to promote exchanges between mathematicians and physicists working in related areas. The school will include 4-hour minicourses by Freddy Bouchet, Isabelle Gallagher, Giovanni Gallavotti, Fraydoun Rezakhanlou, and Herbert Spohn, as well as several 1-hour talks.

The conference is being organized by Mitia Duerinckx, Laure Saint-Raymond, and Sergio Simonella, with financial support from CNRS-Momentum. We will be able to provide travel support and accommodation for a number of junior participants.

Deadline for registrations: July 31st, 2019
